What is agroterra.co.uk?
agroterra.co.uk is a new and exciting English version of the original Spanish agroterra.com, the international leader in hispanic agro-internet platforms. Both sites combine to create the very first online agro-marketplace with a presence across Europe. Agroterra has been operating since 1999, helping agro-businesses grow and succeed.
How do we work?
Commercial and private sellers of any kind of agro-product or service imaginable (from seeds to auditing!) advertise and sell to our growing 3.9 million annual visitors. Our website is an essential tool which lets our clients sell their products without intermediary costs or commissions. Suppliers advertise their products and publish their contact details. They control their own information. We help them develop their businesses. Our clients can grow their sales at little or no cost given that we have over 15 thousand visits every day. What works for them, works for us. We offer a range of over 40 thousand products, organised into 19 categories and 240 subcategories.
Meanwhile 3.9 million customers looking for all sorts of agro-products pay 6 million visits per year to 25 million of our tailor-made product pages. Buyers search for products and when they find what they are looking for, they contact the suppliers directly. Who makes all this possible?
When it started on 3 December 1999, Agroterra was the first agro-portal in its home country, Spain. Agroterra Tecnologías Agrarias S.L., the company that runs agroterra.co.uk and agroterra.com, was set up by a group of agricultural engineers taken with the idea of launching a meeting place for those in the agro-sector. Currently, Agroterra receives over six thousand visits a month.
Our agro-marketplace currently has 67,000 registered suppliers. There are currently more than 40,000 products for sale on the site.
And there are even more visitors who come to the agro-marketplace every month to shop for agro-products and services
